CIWS Cover Instructions

CIWS ENVELOP COVER INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Install the cover, barrel cover first, drum cover front to back second and rear mount third.
   
   
2. Make sure that the "last round line" is NOT secured to the front "L" bar with the plastic tie. This will restrict the drum cover and will not let it be pulled back fully. Cut the plastic tie if necessary. It can be tied to the "inner" "L" bar.
   
   
3. Secure the back Velcro properly to both sides of the drum.
   
   
4. Tighten the straps, especially the top ones so as to keep a tight fit around the radar dome.
   
   
5. Make sure all 8 corners are completely covered by the cover and the gasket is tightly fitting around the radar dome.
   
   
6. Leave the cover on as much as possible. When not in use, store the cover in an internal area.
