DDG Slanted Kingpost Cover Instructions

DDG SLANTED KINGPOST COVER INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Unfasten nylon buckles and Velcro seam on the back of the cover.
   
   
2. Carry the cover to the mezzanine deck above the Kingpost.
   
   
3. Slide the cover on to the King post from above with the ship's name facing outboard.
   
   
4. Fasten rear seam buckles & velcro from top to bottom.
   
   
5. Fasten bottom nylon buckle and cinch strap snugly around the base of the kingpost.
   
   
6. Hook the four snap rings on the hoisting lines to the four nylon loops at the top of the sock. Ensure the sock is properly positioned with the vertical opening on the inboard side of the kingpost.
